Easter is one of my favorite holidays. Celebrating the resurrection of Jesus is so humbling, and to be surrounded by family in springtime is always good for the soul. Easter just seems more simple and relaxed than other holidays somehow. Even still, I love to celebrate in style—the family dressed in our Easter best for church, a wonderful lunch, and of course—festive Easter baskets for the whole family, filled with a few of their favorite things.
Filling Easter baskets for little ones is so fun and honestly, pretty easy! There are lots of little gifts at local stores like Target, and I also found these options on Amazon that I am just obsessed with.
This year I have decided to do a beach theme basket for Piper. We are about to make a move to sunny Pensacola, Florida so this was a perfect way to get her ready. From a cute unicorn float to the Munchin Stainless steal straw cup that keeps her drinks cold for up to 15 hours, I think our little bunny is set.
Bathing Suit: Every girl needs a new bathing suit! Right? So, as soon as I saw this navy blue Cat and Jack suit with cat mermaids from Target, how could pass it up! It even has a cute little bow on the back.
Cover Up: It’s only lady-like to be covered at all times unless you are splashing or sunning! This ombre coverup is going to be perfect for her.
Unicorn Towel: Not any ol’ towel will do for this little one. She (and I) are obsessed with unicorns right now so when I saw this unicorn towel I quickly threw it into my shopping cart!
Unicorn Float: Did I mention we are obsessed with unicorns? I’m not even sure that she will be able to use this float this year but it was still a must have!
Sunscreen: Piper has very sensitive skin. So, I was delighted when I found out that Babyganics Sunscreen was perfect for her. It’s non-allergenic and tear free. We use the stick for her face and the spray for her body. It glides on easy and doesn’t require reapplication. But we are always careful and keep her slathered!
Stainless Steel Cup: I think this is going to be a winner this summer. The Munchkin Stainless Steel Straw cup keeps drinks cold up to 15 hours. This will be a lifesaver on those long days on the beach!
Manhattan Toy Company Bunny: Every girl needs a bunny in her easter basket and since she is too young for a chocolate one this little fuzzy one will have to do. Pretty perfect for her though, since she loves stuffed animals.
Heart-Shaped Sunglasses: How can a girl even think about facing summer without a new pair of shades? I love these Cat and Jack heart shaped glasses, they are going to go with her new suit perfectly!
God Gave Us Easter: All these fun beach treats are great and things that she will love but I still want her to know the real reason we celebrate Easter. It’s not all about chocolate and bunnies, but instead about a glorious resurrection. This is the cutest book I have seen for kids that shares the real reason for Easter.
Snacks: Piper is still a little too young for candy. So, I have filled her basket with age-appropriate snacks like Goldfish, Annie’s Bunny Grahams, and Teensy Peach Organic snacks.
I threw a couple of other things in there that I thought she may like and have fun playing with. Strawberry scented bubbles (from the dollar section at Target), Play-Doh, bathtub soap, sidewalk chalk and a light baton (also from the dollar section at Target).
For Her
Whether you are a mama or busy lady, in general, it’s always hard to find time for ourselves and even harder to treat one’s self. That is why I wanted to make this gift guide just for you. Feel free to screenshot it send it to your husband or significant other along with the link for whichever item you are drooling over. I know I’ll be doing the same!

2. Wake Me For Champagne is an adorable eye mask that is must have for those moments when you can sneak awake for a nap or have the chance to sleep in a little. It is made of pink silk so wont leave any lines or creases on you face!
3. Commuter Clutch is for the “on the go” busy woman, but seriously, aren’t we all. It has places for your bank cards, phone, passport, charging bank and lip gloss. It also has a pocket tucked inside for the items that need to be a little more discreet. I love it because it is slender enough to throw into my diaper bag or carry on.
4. This Rio Round Tote is going to be one of the staple pieces in my wardrobe this summer. Not only is it straw (which is all the rage right now) but it’s big enough for my things and Piper’s things, which somehow always finds a way into my big instead of the diaper bag! This bag can also be monogrammed. Perfect for gifting!
5. Tory Burch Reva 56mm Square Sunglasses I love large dramatic glasses. I’m not sure if its because I can get away with not doing ALL of my eye makeup when I wear them or that they block more sun on my face. It’s probably a little of both. I have been wearing this style for years.
6. Diptyque Candles will always be on my gift list because they simply smell divine. Even after I have finished of the candles I use the jar for makeup bushes, small fresh cut blooms and sometimes just pop in a little tea light when I have company over. These are my favorite candles.
7. This Linen Jewelry Pouch is the cutest. I want it in every color. It’s such a good gift and being a wedding planner for almost 10 years, I also know that these would make great bridesmaids gifts, just in case I have any brides out there!
8. Apple Watch I’m not sure that I really need to tell you how awesome these things are. Apple is doing a pretty good job of selling
