We may never know the reasons why. We may question God a million times and never get an answer. The question may not be “why” but instead, “why not.”
Maybe you are the voice, the vessel that God needed to restore another. Maybe your victory dance will be exactly what your friend/sister/stranger/neighbor needs to fight her battle. Maybe where you were is where they are right now. Maybe they don’t feel like they will ever be themselves again. Maybe she is living in shame. Maybe you are the light she needs.
Victory Dance is not about a fun, hip-hop class that I took, (although this is on my bucket list), or a new wedding reception dance, (believe me, I know them all). Instead, it is a celebration, a dance party, for women that have been through life-altering struggles and have found redemption and grace.
